for my birthday my momma bought me the most beautiful desk & the boyfriend bought us a new computer so the lair in my den that i wanted i now have. i just hang out with my hedgehog all day n night. so with that being said i have been working on art these days. pretty much just messing around trying to get the feel for things ACTUALLY again. it's a little rough around the edges but the passion and love for it is still there so hopefully ill be back on my game soon enough. i have a couple of things done, one being just weird hi im stoned this is keeping me occupied and another that could have been a lot better but i wasnt too worried about it.

so i've come to the realization that i need to get my skills of where i use to be in my art, way back up again. im not comfortable with anything ive done to post. and its almost frustrating. ive taken a few more shots with the holga. we'll see how those turn out sometime or another. i guess i haven't been trying as hard as i should be with my art because i've been so pissed off at everyone and everything lately. maybe i just don't look highly at people anymore at all. my boyfriend made me want to cut his head off yesterday, i told him he had a lot of sucking up to do. and he came home with a single pinky orangey rose for me. first rose anyon

am i feeling closer to creativity and motivation? i don't really know. i hope so. today for the first time in a year i took pencil to paper. just a sketch so far, but i'm hoping to make it look decent. once i get paid i'll get what i need/want to finish it. maybe i'll find it worthy of posting on here, maybe i won't. but i think with each day i'm getting closer to being out of this winter rut and back to my old self, they way i want to be.
